Chinese version of Davyin website launched

The Chinese version of our website is launched! Multi-lingual websites and website translation are two services we pride ourselves with, so we strongly felt the pressure and importance of displaying our skills, with a Chinese website of our own. We came to the decision to create a Chinese version of the website months ago; but our duty is to put our clients` projects first, so the work was continually put off to a later date. Now we have unveiled our new Chinese site, and everything is running smoothly.

Despite the little time we had available for this project, we still carefully translated all of the content of the English site – apart from “Drupal”. As a proper, widely-known brand name in its own right, we decided to keep it untouched (to be honest, we did not want to take the responsibility for the naming in Chinese). All other sections, from the case studies to our regular company news, can also be accessed in Chinese now, and there is even a Chinese contact form to make sure our Chinese-speaking visitors can also directly contact us.

In order to use a stable structure we set up a multi-site system in which the Chinese version is integrated also with a Chinese URL. This solution allows us to add further versions of the website whenever needed. Due to an increasing number of interested companies from Europe and especially from France, we are already working on a French version and definitely want to launch it soon along with a version in traditional Chinese.
