David Suissa, Davyin’s CEO, speaks at Britcham’s SEO & Webmarketing event

“The Entrepreneur’s Interchange: low Cost/ No Cost: Using Social Media to Beat the Recession”, the roundtable discussion forum aimed at providing entrepreneurs with useful practical advice on how to overcome the many challenges they face whilst building their businesses in Shanghai. This event is organized annually by the British Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai and this year took place on Wednesday the 8th of April at the Longemont Hotel Shanghai.

 

As a recognized expert whose strong technical background provides valuable understanding of web marketing, Davyin Internet Solutions’ CEO “David Suissa” was invited to speak on the panel. He presented the importance of Search Engine Optimization for companies, as a way to increase online/offline business leads. His speech was focused on simple but important technical aspects that companies tend to forget when implementing online communication strategies, and that can earn lots of benefits in terms of visibility on search engine result pages (SERPs).

He then left the floor to “Archie Hamilton, Managing Director, Split Works” who shared his experience on how he had been able to leverage social networks to promote different projects related to the music industry. He brought great insight by explaining his strategy on the local Chinese market and reaching target consumers efficiently. By giving concrete cases of projects that he managed, the audience was able to understand the depth of online social interactions.

 

Presentations were then quickly followed by a questions and answers in which the audience manifested its interest on the topic. It was actually a great opportunity for participants to receive first hand advice from specialists in the online marketing industry.

 

After the conference the audience and panelists were invited to engage into personal discussions in which David noticed a wide variety of people with different industry backgrounds were interested in online marketing. Indeed, the conference had record attendance and proved to be a great success thanks to the British Chamber of Commerce’s great organization.
