The new StreamWIDE website is on air now with an enhanced design and a simplified user interface: http://www.streamwide.com/

We readily accepted the challenge of a complete re-design and built a customized website as the foundation of StreamWIDE`s web presence.
 

Client

StreamWIDE is an innovative provider of services for mobile and fixed-line telecommunication operators. It is listed in NYSE Euronext and operates internationally from its French headquarters and its offices in the US, China, and Romania. In the globally growing but strongly competitive telecom market it provides SIP- and IP-based network services and stands out from the competition by continually investing in R&D and providing high-quality solutions for its customers.

 

Requirements

As a provider of innovative and complex technological services StreamWIDE wished for a website that would not only underline the company`s innovativeness but also give the user a comprehensible and transparent overview of StreamWIDE`s services. The challenges for us were to handle the migration of data from an existing website to a new one as we established a whole new architecture and new animations. We paid particular attention to StreamWIDE`s need for a scalable website that allows the addition of more pages and languages at a later date.

 

Solution and Benefit

Although StreamWIDE`s new website relies on an ambitious and robust Drupal CMS structure with 15 different content types the website is both easy to maintain in-house and provides an intuitive user interface at the same time. By tackling the challenges and being sensible to the client needs we could create a unique and custom-built web presence at the core of Streamwide`s online marketing strategy.

 

- Possibility to use videos from YouTube, Vimeo and Tudou by simply providing the video URL in the page edit form - many other

  video providers can be added
- Block management to easily shift one section to another on the Home Page
- Smooth access to downloadable content in the Media Center
- About page with in-page navigation in Partners and Careers sections
- jQuery eye candy: JS animations on many parts of the website that support SEO and accessibility
- Focus / banner management with menu list and related node that facilitates linking pages with related content and enhances

  usability of the website and prevents random links
- Multi-language website: breadcrumbs and URL aliases are built on a robust architecture that allows easy input of content in French,

  English and Chinese and that could serve as a basis for additional languages
